When you purchased 577-450 dies from CH-4D did you ask for any modifications? I have heard their dies are set up for .458 bullets. Is this true? What is the real story? I plan to order some dies soon....

Coyote,That's a good solution, especialy if you have a sizing die with a tight or small neck. (may be my only recourseBut my Idea is to minimize the amount of neck sizing and not over work the brass....

Douglas,Yes, the neck is the weakest point on the 577/450 case, especially the upper quarter inch. This is particularly true of the turned brass and annealing after every shot is paramount. It isn't...
